When it comes to refreshing a space in your home for Spring, why not add some color? You know you want to….
This guest room is a space for our clients to allow their family and friends to lay their heads when they come down for a visit to the sunshine state. We wanted to create a calming environment that also flowed with the rich blue color scheme of the rest of this newly built Guesthouse. If you’d like to see the other rooms in this space click here.
A natural-toned headboard balanced well with the accent wall painted in Old Navy by Benjamin Moore. Lightweight bedding was a must with our Florida heat, and plush accent pillows add some style to welcome guests of all ages. We love how the brass mirror pops off the dark blue tone of the wall, and the urban gray nightstands by Universal Furniture round out the textures. Well, almost… we couldn’t stop ourselves from accessorizing with some woven floor baskets. Every guest room should have a place to stash extra pillows & throw blankets when not in use.
The polished concrete floors add to the Urban in a big way, but not to worry- no bare feet will have to hit the hard floor for long, thanks to our super plush & sleek area rug by Jaipur. And quite possibly my favorite piece in this room is this sled bench that adds a fun spot to put on shoes or have a quick sit & download the events of a fun Florida day before hitting the sheets.
What’s your favorite element of this otherwise ordinary guest room? Maybe you have a blank bedroom in your home that you’d love to be proud to show off to guests, but you don't really know how to get started. Good news! We gotcha!
